PESTOLA would like to thank LSU/Children’s Hospital of New Orleans for hosting the 2018 meeting. The meeting began with a fellow program with speaker, Dr. Saul Malozowski. Invited speakers included Dr. Rebecca Brown speaking on lipodystrophy and Dr. Mary Lee, current PES president, speaking on Endocrine Disruptors and Puberty.

Call for Abstracts
Participants interested in presenting an oral presentation or poster presentation are invited to submit an abstract. All abstracts will undergo peer review by the Abstract Review Committee and may be accepted for oral and/or poster presentation. Participants are particularly invited to submit cases regarding ethics.

Objectives: At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:
1. Discuss diagnosis and management of lipodystrophy.
2. Discuss the racial/ethnic differences in children with diabetes mellitus.
3. Describe recent management updates of type 2 diabetes mellitus .
4. Identify endocrine late effects of childhood cancer treatment.
5. Discuss growth disorders in pediatric patients.
6. Describe familial lipid disorders.
7. Discuss the evaluation and management of disorders of sexual development.

INTENDED AUDIENCE: This activity is specifically directed towards the pediatric endocrinologist but it is open to all other interested physicians, residents, medical students and allied health professionals.
